This is how it looks so far.
Site
127 Bob Winkler
135 Chuc-Denice
137 Anthony, Kathy
138 Rich, Mary
139 Gary, Trudy
148 Jeff, Anna.+ crew
156 Bill P
157 Victor Star

As you all can see by the map there is still plenty of room.
There is plenty to do at the lake it just depends on what you like. If you never been here you will not believe everything here in the middle of Mo.
Who knows I might even get directions to the Concrete Spaceship.

It looks like it is coming together. Lets all hope the weather cooperates. It has been the 60s the past few days. It will all change tonight, forcast snow and cold.
I still need to finish my trailer. I got it all sanded down for a fresh coat of paint. Got the hinge fixed from Nevada. Still need to fix the frame on my first up.
Iguess the potluck will depend a lot on weather. I have several Ideas, just need to wait untill it gets a little closer.
We went by the park again the other day. It was full of Turkeys and Deer.
About 10 Deer and too many Turkeys to count.
Looking foward to seeing everyone.

Just a "heads up" for everyone. If you MapQuest the campground, the end point will put you at the headquarters and not the campground we are at. You'll have to follow Hwy. 134 to it's endpoint to campgrounds 1,2,3 and 4. We are in #4...........

I thought I would point this out because there will be people coming from different directions/different times and would hate to see anyone get lost. I've never been to this campground before so let me know if I'm all wet on the directions.

Thanks Jeff for the heads-up on directions.

GOOGLE MAP to campsites in Section #4

I thought this might help get the GPS numbers from! ;)

I could make the drive by sun up straight from work?

I sure hope it gets warm soon! Just over 2 weeks away until the gathering. I need to repack the wheel bearings and get my car stereo installed, the old stereo was stolen at work. :x Mattress needs some work and blankets washed but otherwise I'm ready to go. Everyone else getting ready?

I'm home for the 2nd day with a chest cold, viral infection , running fever .... and likely won't go to work tomorrow either.... so I'm very iffy still for whether I'll be there... I will want to make sure there's no icy weather around that time too... ya know.

Just like the December gathering if the weather is really bad I'll be staying home. Cold within reason is no problem but snow, ice and high winds will keep me at home. I don't mind camping in the garage, I must like it cause I've done it twice this year.

Hope you get to feeling better Julie. :)

Just wondering, anyone organizing a caravan out of KC for this thing? I'm thinking we could meet at Peggy's in Collins. Mo at say 1:00 PM on friday for lunch, eat and then head east for the park? Peggy's is a great down home restaurant. From KC, Hwy 71 south to 13 south to Clinton, then hwy 7 south to Collins, then east to the park. Got a better idea?

I'd had to check my map to make sure but you got two of your hyways reversed. It would be 71 south to 7 over to Clinton than south on 13 to Collins.

I love going to small town diners but that would add an hour to the drive time, according to Streets and Trips. I'll probably be taking 70 or 50 out of KC. Both of those routes are about the same time and distance.
