Bob, glad to have you. Please reserve as soon as possible as right now the remaining reservable sites 2, 4, 5, 6 (the closest reservable sites) and 22, 24, 25 (the ones beside the road like parallel parking spots for RV's).

Missouri doesn't allow doubling up - more than one trailer per site. Their rules are quite a read.

Of course there are some non-reservable sites 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 are in the same loop.

To reserve a site you must go to the park's page (link in first post) and follow the link to the reservation system. There are a few non-reservable sites near the loop we will be in that are on a first come first served basis.

We would love to have you come camp with us!

hope you guys don't mind a rookie (illinois) teardropper tagging along...

i'm going to call tomorrow and see if i can get site 6. i have a reservation at finger lake state park for late march i'm going to switch to these dates cuz i can no longer make it in march.

i'll repost once i get reserved.

Anyone pondering joining us,
there are just 2 reservable sites left in this loop. There are 3 reservable roadside sites with electricity on the other side of the shower house.

it is with regret that Kathy and I will not be able to make it for this event. Kathy's youngest son has decided to get hitched on that weekend. So..... #14 is now available as I just cancelled my reservations.

We were looking sooooooo forward to being there with all of you.

One month to go, food discussion

Well folks, it is a month to go until our gathering at Pershing State Park.

What are your thoughts on meals? I figure on a potluck on Saturday night. I have been searching around for eateries in the area for Friday night - if anyone wants to go out to eat. I'm not from the immediate area so I don't have any first hand knowledge on good places to eat. Anyone have a favorite spot to eat in this neck of the woods?
