Dennis will put you on the map.......Greers Ferry is a "go back to place for us" We hiked sugar loaf several years ago..just didn't have enough time..the ferry boat only gave us a couple of hours....next time we will rent a boat and go over... Looks wonderful....so many level, flat, newly built sites have never been viewed by this camper!....so impressed...glad to have everyone coming...The sites are no longer, just exactly as depicted in the map on the reservation site...close enough for us though. okay folks. The campground still has sites available right now but they are filling up fast. Queeniejeannie and dad are there right now and check with the ranger and camp host. They picked up another tiny trailer friend that is going to attend just not sure of his name. LOL

Just returned from our weekend at Mill Creek. Rules or Not; just passing this stuff on to you all:
1...watch the law in Kimberling City.....drop that speed to 45 then to 30 just like it says.......watch the law.....The town is old people older than any of us.
2....down shift going down the hill on RB two hair pins at the bottom of long hill.
3....new campground hosts, don't know the computers yet and how to run them,,but really nice.....the rangers and the corps guys are hanging around alot so they will save the day.
4....not a bad spot in the bunch

Come off 44 at James River Expressway, then to Campbell St /13 hwy/160 south exit. Use of 13 is helpful since it doesn't have five long, long hills like 65 does. You will bypass Branson West now that the new part of 13 is finished, so for those of you who remember a bottle neck at 76/13, it's still there but you won't be in it. Through Kimberling City, across the bridge and up the hill past the "cruise Inn" motor lodge on right. then right at county Road RB......all the way to the end. I know there are directions on the Mill creek site but I wanted to tell them.....
