I know. We are sufficiently shamed. This will be the second time out this year and hopefully we have the tow vehicle back by then.

Darren, Jon is planning on coming to Crawford also. We will double up with him as usual. Hey Razorback, Gene talked Jon into buying a truck like yours. We love it.

Darren Hope you got room for one more tear. We will be there , but not in a tent. We have retired the tent and moved into our "teardrop".

Just got my AAA magazine and there is a wonderful article on the Pioneer Party A festival in Fort Scott for the fall Thought this was mentioned earlier in this thread but thought I would remind all that we can play in Ft Scott and have corncobs thrown at you by a antique cob cutting machine and go on a ghost tour, where you can be touched by unknowns.......... :roll:

Back to the article: goes on to talk about Crawford State Park and shows the cabins.
The Gordon Parks Celebration, showcasing (later in the first weekend of October) photograghy....odd to imagine famous Life Magazine Photographer coming from that part of the country. Everyone has a beauty in their minds, don't they. The eye sees different things as photographical. This year they will honor John Sherer who shot the photo of young John Jr at his father's casket, saluting. See everyone and more at Crawford.
