I'm still in the process of bidding vacation time. If I can get the right couple of days off, I will pack the tent in the car and come out. I'm sure the Wife won't want to come when she fids out it's a primitive site, but I'll still make sure I ask her to come. I guess that makes me a maybe.

Bill, I will put you on the maybe list, and hope you can make it. Kenneth, there is a very nice modern pit toilet at the site. Well as nice as a pit toilet can be. Nice clean brick building with good ventilation.

Husband says I should go as I have wanted to since the first one. I got the time off work and my oldest and his wife are interested in joining me with their 2 kids. The only unknown is what will happen with my mom, but I figure that will work out. Happy Birthday to me

Lisa, Will's wife here. Last year, I went with Will and our two dogs to Walk the Winds. We had a GREAT time!

One morning, I went into Pinedale to the Aquatic Center and used their showers. The staff was ulta friendly. I don't know if they provide towels because I had brought my own and didn't ask. I think it cost me $5.00. It was worth it! The shower pressure was very strong and I was never so clean. The place was also extremely clean. Just like showers at an athletic club. The $5.00 included use of the facilty for the day.

That is good information Lisa. I was not aware of that place when I was there in 2012.

I was telling my dear step-dad about the vacation plan for this summer, and when he realized we are planning 2-3 days in Yellowstone after WtW before heading back south, he started thinking about joining us. It's still up in the air, but he may tent-camp with us. (Hm, I THINK all of the campgrounds I have been looking at have tent camping.) I think it would be great for the kids to have their grandpa with us! He's going to check his calendar and we'll finalize in a couple of days so I can start making reservations at various campgrounds.

Boy, I remember 35-40 years ago camping with my parents and everyone would have laughed hysterically about reservations!

Catherine, That would be great if dad comes along. There is plenty of room, and ths kids would get an extended vacation with grandpa. Hope it works out.

Catherine, Does your step-dad like to sleep in a recliner?
A car with good seats and a big bag(of clothes) under you feet is almost like a recliner and no rocks or much set up.
I did it on road trips(with the kids) a lot before I built a teardrop. Just a thought.
