ok, so i just found your map and yes, i was definitely over-looking it! i never thought to go back to page 1.

1) is this a popular campground? will the non-reservable sites (44, 45, etc) fill up fast? i don't wanna reserve and be off by myself!

2) you think the park would let someone park on a spot for me until i showed up? i could be there on friday...probably by mid afternoon'ish.

1) yes, it is a popular campground. I'm not sure if they will fill up fast. I was shocked at the number of campers that just showed up last year at Pershing looking for a spot.

2) yes, as long as they paid for it. Keep us posted of your intentions.

As the date for this meet comes closer, if anyone has to cancel their reservations, please contact me first as I may be able to take your spot(and pay you the full amount).

Originally, Kathy and I couldn't make it due to other obligations that weekend - but that may be changing :). Not 100% yet, so we are hesitating making our own reservations, but I just wanted to throw this out in case I could help someone that couldn't make it

Great Tony. They have non reservable sites so if all else fails we can grab one of them for you.

I have no credit card so I cannot reserve a spot, I'd appreciate it if someone would save me a site.

Between us if there is a site Firelion we will get one for you, even if I have to Pay for one....Queenie Jeanne.....The attendants there last year were great, they said just put something on the site big enough to validate someone having the spot. Queenie Jeanne

Hey everybody,

I'm brand new to this. I have almost completed my first build and ready to start camping.I plan on attending this event. What I gather here is that all sites are reserved in the general area of the gathering but some are first come/ first serve (i.e. 29-32, 44-46). Am I correct with this? Sites 23-28 are still available close by. Some of have asked if you could "save" them a first come/ first serve site until they get there. I would like that opportunity also if someone is willing to do for me that or I can reserve one of those others. I will be driving from Springfield, Mo. after work, 3 hour drive.
