We have four possible events for the middle of September. Since we can't do them all, we need to make a decision. We would very much like to make the Crawford Teardrop gathering, but this means that we will need to drop another that we also would like to take in. What a dilemma!

My question is, is there still room for another at the gathering? This will help us make the decision final. We are leaning towards Crawford since it is always great fun to get together with the teardrop group.

We'll probably be doubling up on the sites and a few may end up having 3. Of course this is based on the replies we've gotten. In the past a few have had to back out for different reasons and we'll probably see that again this year.

Anyway we will make room for everyone that wants to attend. We'd love to camp with you guys again.

Thanks,
Darren

Just about a month to go. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again. Got a few updates for you all. I had been asked about using the logo for shirts so I put a couple of Cafe Press stores up.

The first one uses what I call the light logo.

You can visit the light logo store at this link.

The second Cafe Press store uses what I call the dark logo.

You can visit the dark logo store here.

I've set these up so everyone can buy them at cost. Most of these are setup with the logo full size on the front. If anyone wants I can setup a shirt with the logo on the back or smaller on the right chest. Just email me and I'll get it setup for you.

I also added a 13 ounce beer mug on my etching page.

I can make these with just the logo or with your name below the logo. I can also add names or whatever lettering you want on the 1 liter mugs. The mug page is here.

Any questions just email me.

I'm looking at going down on Thursday the 23rd and camp. If enough people can make it down I'll see about reserving the area another day. Post up and let me know.

Take care,
Darren

Sounds good Bob. So far it's just Phil and myself for Thursday. We're going for chicken Thursday night and you're invited. If it's alright with you guys I think we'll head to the south restaurant. A little bit farther to drive but the food is usually better there.

Can not make it this year.

Postby SmokeyBob » Thu Aug 26, 2010 9:18 am

Darren
Sorry everyone, Judith and I will not be able to make it. :(
On Friday the 13th, no joke, she had surgery to remove part of her intestines. She is now in a rehab center. We have been told it can take up to eight weeks for this type of surgery to heal. Maybe we can make it next year. We would still like to get the mugs that we ordered.
