Granny, the old cure for shingles is to paint them with iodine. Worked for my child when she had them.........

Hey guys & gals.. it was great to meet all of you! I managed to take 157 photo's in my short 3 hours. I got lots of ideas. Everyone had great TD's!

I posted a short forum message about the trip here.

I created a photo gallery and uploaded a small portion of the photo's, the link is http://teardrop.n523rv.com/zenphoto/.

Hope everyone enjoyed the flyover!

This was absolutley worth the trip down and back. There are so many ways to customize a TD that I just need to sit down and filter some ideas. :?

It was great to meet everyone, I'm sure when I finally kick off the actual building, I'll be asking several questions.

Thanks again!

Home again, Home again .... what a :D camping weekend, to Darren for heading it up and :applause: to the newbies for coming and we hope they all had a great time!

I had a great time, my friend Phil thought everybody was great and said he had a great time. He hadn't been camping in so long. He was feeling better on the trip home, and really really enjoyed meeting everyone.

Thanks for all the pictures and laughs and hugs!!! See you soon!

Hi All
Wish we could have been there to meet you all.
We were about half way there when we got a call that our oldest daughter had passed away.
By the pictures, it looks like you had a wonderful time.
Maybe we wiil meet you all, another time, another place.

Sue and I had an uneventful trip home ending our very first ever outing with the camper! SUCCESS!!!! :applause: :applause:

We gained a tremendous amount of knowledge on towing, camping, building, what to do next time, what not to do etc. etc..

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome, new friendships and for the overall effort to make this gathering fun. Here are a few pics and the rest can be found at: http://img42.imageshack.us/slideshow/webplayer.php?id=us2p.jpg

Possibly the first ever TD Gathering Fly-Over by Matthew...

We made it!!!

What a pleasant campground.

Looking forward to finishing the camper and attending many more gatherings. Thanks again all[/img]

Had a great time over the weekend. Thanks to everyone. Made it home 8 hours after we left the camp ground. Had a blow-out on the Econoline over by fall river Ks. You would think that at my age I would know to carry a spare tire. Had to wait for my son to bring me one from Wichita. 4-hours later we are on the road. The transmission started acting funny. We made to a half block from home & it gave-up. Managed to coast into the driveway where it still sets with a big puddle under it. At lest we made it & had lots of fun.
The impossable just takes longer & cost more.
