Hi Everybody~

It’s time to camp! As many of you know I have started a new job (yuck! But it pays the bills!) I have Wednesdays and Thursdays off and have to work the weekends.

Our friends, Denny and Karen live in Westcliffe, CO. Last week they took me to a really neat reservoir right outside of Westcliffe called Lake De Weese. I can’t wait to go back…. And am!!! I’ll be there Wednesday and Thursday, July 22nd and 23rd. Would you and can you come and camp with me? It is free, has bathrooms and we can have fire…. Denny and Karen will be there and there is room for as many as can come.

From the center of Westcliffe, drive north on CO 69 for less than half a mile and take a right onto Lake De Weese Rd.(CR 241). Travel north for 4 miles. Look for the teardrops.

Westcliffe and is an awesome place, I went there to install Blinds and drapes
at the time I wanted to go back with Julie I told her about it when we are ready we will call ya.

Sorry Pam, I'd love to but that looks to be the days I work. Maybe we can camp another time when I have Wed and Thurs off. My schedule rotates 3 days on then 3 day off, camping on days off would be great, then I don't have to take any days off. Plus I heard that most of the parks are booked every weekend for the whole Summer.

Pam, we will be in Buena Vista Wednesday but don't know if we'll be able to visit or not. We MAY be able to get down there but we have a rafting trip on Thursday.

Hi Pam. I would love to come up to Colorado to meet you, but this week isn't good for me and my niece's 18th birthday is the 29th. She'd kill me if I missed it. Any time in August is good though. I am also interested in coming to the Last Gasp. Where can I find info on it? Looking forward to meeting you soon.
