Cook-off

This was in the local "paper." I did not know about it before hand, might have been fun to drive down there and see what was going on.

Jerry, We were at the Chili Cook-off about 2-3 years ago...Little town of Bull Shoals, nice city park where they had booths set up and we bought tickets. Not a big turn out. Hope they had a better one this year for the DO cook off. We didn't know about it either...the only reason we knew about the chili cookoff was we were camped below the dam at the state park. Jeanne, it's too bad that there is not some way to get the information out about events in the tri-lakes area. There are so many events happening around here that it would be nice to know in advance so that people could plan on attending, not reading about it afterward.

Congrats to the winners. If you call the Chamber of commerce in the areas or even google them you will find a lot. Perhaps the fun stuff in Branson smothers some of the other stuff....
