Babler State Park stop to Crossroads

Edwin Babler: That State of Mo Park will be closed till after Dec 2011 due to storm damage from the tornadoes last week. We who are going to the Crossroads gathering were going to use it as a stop over point. If there is a better place to put this I will leave that to our handlers. Queenie Jeanne

I'm beginning to think that we need to wait till the time is closer and see if there is any state parks still open.

unable to have the time yet...have been tear drop gathering since Wed. Will Start looking later as Gary and Trudy would think. I don't understand what happened to Kurt in Indiana...he was talking on facebook teardrop. ????can you shed light? Mirium, Jeanne

I called Babler and we are fine. The area that was damaged was away from our group but all has been cleaned up and the park is open.

I'm thinking about stopping at Graham Cave SP on the way home. Anyone else looking at return trip stop overs?
I'm still trying to get the Missouri camping award for staying at 5 Mo State Parks in one year so this will put me at #4.
