I will be celebrating my 50th birthday at Scott Lake, Kansas. I hope some of you can come. Paul and I will scout the area and collect all the important information July 3 and 4th and report back to everyone. Please wait until then to make your decision about coming. AND, PLEASE do NOT choose this gathering over another one already planned.

BUT...I'd LOVE to have as many of you as can come to celebrate this "historic" event in my life!

Trust me, we'll have cold beverages...the mind altering kind!!! I"ll bring my favorite, you bring your favorite...and hopefully one kind soul will be a margarita guru and bring their margarita machine!!!

Gary and I have been hoping there would be something in KS or MO during August or September. He is really busy at work right now ... but could probably get away for a 3-day weekend

I can make breakfast (my mountainman DO caserole and cinammon rolls).

It will be my birthday during the Petit Jean campout in Arkansas (unfortunately its been awhile since my 50th ) Then your birthday party in September and Mad Jack at LCG ... people will think we campers are partying fools.

Excellent! We have a large (40 cup) coffee Maker that we'll bring and that way, I'll have the coffee! Thanks for the offer for breakfast! Sounds TERRIFIC to me!

... This might be doable....... I can drive from my house to Oakley in 4 hours flat on I-70!! Another half an hour and we're there!! We'll see.................

SOOOO glad you are coming! I wasn't looking past the "Now don't look Lynn" but I had something in mind: How about a talent show Saturday night? Just a thought. I have a little something something I could do. Surely ya'll have a little something something you could do too?

Paul and I spend July 3 night and July 4 day at Scott Lake...and we LOVE IT! We loved it so much that we bought another night and stayed until 4:00 this morning, loaded up and came home, showered, dressed and came to work by 8 am! We talked to the Camp Host while we were there and got a lot of valuable information from her. Well post all the info at one time...For now, I just wanted to let ya'll know, this is a definate go and I really like this lake!!!
