Does anyone have any recommends for sites on the Guadalupe? I'd like to plan a trip for early Aug but don't know where to look for RV sites. We usually state at state parks.

Morning, if you would like to be right next to the river " River Road Camp" is a good location. Priced fairly, has it's own little store. But there are so many other rv places.. If you look in past threads like Spinnernuts Great Guadalupe adventure...this was a nice park but it was during a bad drought and the access to river was very steep. Things may have changed. :applause: Txbum Leisure Resort near Seguin is a nice place , next to river, also has a nice pool , play ground for kids....Palmetto State Park is nice but can be quite hot this time of year, lot's of flora and fauna, river passes thru a few miles off Interstate 10 at Luling state Hwy 183 ..Good luck Txbum Rick

River road camp AND K&l camp are real good. do not go to lazy l&l camp, there might be something wrong WHEN a water truck comes by twice a day to keep the dust down
