Well I have undone a boat trailer..

The frame is on the sawhorses and ready for the modify.
I have added pics to my album.

I noticed some of you guys have the frame hiddon, and some showing.
Is this due to trailer design, or preference?

Hidden frame or not is pretty much a design choice. Your frame looks almost identiical to mine. I built mine 6" over (5' wide on a 4' frame.) on both sides and painted the frame black so it's not real noticeable.
I also built in an internal front brace in the floor so I wouldn't have to box the frame.
You can see the details of my build at http://sonetpro.shutterfly.com/action/

I also left the tounge long as it made it perfect to mount my kayak rack. I mounted a reciever hitch upside down on the tounge and use a reciever rack on the front that would normally be used on the back of a truck.

Many cover the trailer for looks. :)

Good luck on your build. My first build was on a boat frame.
