I looked up burgee in Encarta & it says it is a light identification flag flown from the top of a mast. So you were right. I learned a new word today.

I know, no one asked for it, but here's another suggestion....make the logo bigger in realtion to the size of the flag. ;)

THANKS FOR THE IDEAS

Postby Cindy » Wed May 23, 2007 4:52 pm

Thanks, I knew you guys would ALL have opinions. The only way to make the logo bigger in relation to the size of the flag is to make the flag smaller since the iron on is 8x10. I am changing the background to the same color as the flag or close to it. I will put a fold on the top of the 14x14 to put on a stick or rope so it will be oblong.

I'm making a dozen or so and we can display them at ITG. Let's let everyone know who WE are! SOUTH CENTRAL TEARS ROCKS!!

The only change I would suggest is the "IT'S"--the T and the S should be smaller.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

Changes

Postby Cindy » Thu May 24, 2007 6:44 am

All the suggestions have been good. I will make a new flag tonight and will have Dave post it. These will look great hanging at our sites.

Hey Cindy and Dave,

Any chance of a flag being available to those of us that can't make to the ITG in Minden? Just let me know the cost.

Thanks
Earl & Kerry

Earl,

They'll be availabe for any South Central Teardropper. I'm not sure of the cost, I've been trying to ignore that.

For those of you that are fortunate enough to make it to Minden :envious: the flags are on the way. Sonetpro picked them up this afternoon and they are on their way. I hope you all are pleased with the way they turned out. Cindy sent him with sticks and a glue gun for those of you that want your flag on a stick.

Hope to see all of you at Petite Jean. Thanks for all the support that our extended South Central family has given us.
