Not sure how the Addison Police would feel about that -- or the Marriot. That's a somewhat upscale area.

If you don't mind concrete and dumpsters for scenery, you could camp out behind my office about three miles from the hotel. :D

If you like cars, come by the magazine one day. We always have something neat sitting around the warehouse. Right now we have a Shelby, a Ferrari, and a couple of Corvettes. The US RUF dealer is right around the corner, too. There's always something fast there.

Check out this place. We stayed here about 2 years ago. The only campground "close to the city" Great location!

Lynn
I drive right by there every day on my way to work.
There is a place about 15 min. up the road from there, closer than lewisville. here is the link http://oldwww.nationwide.net/~sandylrv/
I've never camped there but went there alot as a kid. This is in the city,
may be alot of traffic noise. It was nice 20 or 30 years ago. My kids still
go there on band trips and stuff. This is as close as you can get.
dallas is a big place with lots of cities pushed up against it.
Good luck Keith

I thought about Sandy Lake park, but at the park web site, it didn't see anything about camping. I guess the RV park is a separate entity.

Sandy Lake would be the closest place to the Marriot Qurum, for sure. 10-15 miles, or so.
