I was wondering why the water balloon was getting bigger... and then it hit me.

Yes, we sure missed the rest of the South Central TX and OK folks ... but it was really humid and hot so if I look shabby in the pictures , that's why! Any time with teardropping friends is a good time !!!

I liked the campground, but if going to Texoma again, I'd rather try a different campground. Not every td gathering has to turn into an annual event. I only count Beavers Bend as the first annual spring one, and of course the granddaddy of all , LCG is like a family reunion,..

I'd liketo see how you constructed your privacy tent - looks like you had some weights on it to keep it down. My curtains were goig sideways at Memorial day. I'm not sure how to keep them weighted.

That changing room of mine, the curtains were bought at the last minute and not sure whether to get the $30 or $45 set, so I just used cheap $2 white shower curtains. I used binder clips at the "seams" at the bottom , middle and top. And it was pretty windy at times, the frame never faltered.

When I get the actual fabric (gold) curtains I plan to attach velcro 'ties' -- the good strong velcro . I thought about putting velcro on the pipe in places but doubt I'll do that.

I'll send ya pics later Marilyn.

I used to camp at a campground on the Texas side of the highway 377 bridge. It was nice, with lots of trees. It had a boat ramp, which is why I camped there. The toilet facilities were rather primitive, though.

How about hemming in some small chain at the bottom. Get some chain that feels right for weight at Home Depot, and hem it into the curtain.

You'll then need to tack stitch links every foot or so to the curtain to keep the chain in place.

Just a thought.

Yes, the chain in the bottom is what I'm thinking of doing ... or someone suggested some fishing weights every 6". I'll definitely have velcro 'ties' at the very bottom, then at half way and at top.

Julie short lengths of PVC pipe in a slip in hem at the bottom of the curtain
will work ( if you had scraps or mispainted pipe ).

Pat

PS: If I can still get it I might have some curtain materal you will like I have seen in a local store. I hope to get it before it is all gone. :)

and if the pipe isn't heavy enough you could fill it with weights or rocks.
