Another opening

Postby rmcelroy » Mon Oct 13, 2008 2:10 pm

I as well am not going to be able to attend this year. I have reserved site 63, its not fully paid for but I have made a one night deposit.

I still have hopping issues with my tear and just find it difficult to face the drive over from Birmingham. I know thats a pretty lame reason-but that combined with gas/food/making ends meet costs have squeezed most of the fun out of life here lately.

This has been a very difficult decision, I really enjoyed the first two-and I'm sure I will regret this later.

Send me a mail and I will let the park know there has been a change of plans :(

Have fun guys and gals
Mc

MC just a wild hair but Del told me adding longer spring hangers may have flattened my springs out. Now if you have the equipment or are a strong one I wonder if that might help....Without being a total pain if it doesn't.

Well it looks like I am going to have to sit this one out as well.
(To think, I finally talked my folks into joining us on Saturday this year. :(
I got a teaching gig for the spring. I have to turn in all kinds of lesson plans and such in advance for approval in the next few weeks, not to mention my regular coursework. The deadlines for the lesson plans and my class-work are coming at me fast. I have to take something off my plate for the next few weeks.

I am in site 56 and paid in full. If you want it, PM me and I'll tell you where to send the funds.

Have a great time!

Thanks Starleen2,

I got a gig at DTS for the spring and summer. September slip past me before I knew it and October is 1/2 gone, and it doesn't help that I am carrying 12 hours too. Now it's time to pay the piper. I thought long and hard about the decision to cancel. I thought about trying to work on some for the lessons while I'm at the gathering, but I know that there will be too much fun going on for me to keep my head down and work.

I am going to miss you all too, but I'll see ya'll at Isle Du Bois in December (I'm going to have to skip Inks Lake too.).
