Fire near Cloudcroft.

Postby mandy » Thu May 07, 2009 12:34 pm

I just heard that there is a fire 30 miles south of Cloudcroft in the town of Timeron (sp?). Here is a link to the story. http://www.koat.com/news/19390674/detail.html

It is so dry there right now. I hope they get rain soon. :worship:

Well..maybe between now and the 4th of July there will be some rain. I'm really looking forward to the gathering there.

I really don't want fire restrictions when the gathering is on.

WOW it's a little early for fires already. It is usually still wet in that area.
Hope this isn't a sign of what the summer is going to be like.

We've had such a warm winter that the snow pack melted early. I hope it rains a few times before we go in July. :worship:
