just a few more, there is a museum at barksdale also north of minden is a historic germantown colony. Old Minden isn't much other than an old downtown "The Historic District" (read rundown buildings) but I grew up in Minden so It's not very impressive to me, But there are some pretty homes. Arcadia has the Bonnie and Clyde museum seems like there may be one in Gibsland also.
I may not know what I'm doing , but I'm slow!

We are still seriously considering trying to get down there, never been in that part of the country. Not sure if the ole lady can get enough time off tho. That and $300 plus gas money is making it a little iffy. I'm sure younse will have a good time even if we don't make it tho. 8) 8)

We are committed, we are just waiting on the reservation conformation. we are in cabin 14. We cant wait to visit with everyone and get more ideas for our TD. we wont arrive untill friday night about 9 or 10 so we will see everyone saturday morning. See you then.... :P :beer: :tipsy:
