Yes Mark, things can change. But I must say that forecast beats the heck out of last years weather.

I am so ready to go camping.

I have about 8 folks that haven't paid for Saturday night. I don't know if they are watching the weather or just forgot.
I need to know of any cancelations by Sunday morning (March 21st) to be able to cancel with the park and have deposites refunded.

Well, I made the bed yesterday and had plans to wash the exterior, but the cold rain got here first. Forecast is for rain and 20-30 MPH winds and a high of 41 today, so I don't think it will get washed today either. Other than that small detail, I'm so ready!!!!!!!!!!!

Mentally I"m definately ready to get out of town and get some R&R and see all our teardrop friends.

I still have to pack the new teardrop (and find everything that goes in it since Charles used it all last Oct when he went hunting) and pack the back of the truck.

I guess I'll do all that Wednesday since my sister told me we have to do our income tax this afternoon.

Can't wait to get to Beavers Bend

I got my hundred bux in gas money, got the food and drink all lined up, the teardrop is ready to go, I'm ready! Funny because I see 3 inches of snow outside my front door, but I know it will warm up just fine!

Wow!!!! I'm glad that didn't happen here. We just got a little sleet earlier, if any snow fell, I didn't see it.

we have had some heavy snow flurries for about two hours. I think it's all passed now and the sky is getting a little brighter. Too warm for snow to stick here, thank goodness.

It's still here at 4pm but it didn't stick top the roads at any time. It was a perfect snow. Here's a pic from this morning.

Mentally ready .... check.
Teardrop ready ... pffftt... no!

We were told to expect anywhere from 6-10" here in OKC and maybe got a couple... I thought I'd be stuck inside all weekend, but went dancing a bit Fri night, went shopping Saturday from noon to 5 and now Sunday, the FEW inches we got are pretty much gone. Streets are dry etc.

Now, as far as BB ... I don't think they got much but rain... hope it's not terribly muddy down there but be prepared for that.

Postby queeniejeanne » Sun Mar 21, 2010 7:12 pm

:o I have pulled tendons or muscles on some ribs....will wait a little later in the week to decide whether to bring the route 66 tear or the new rig. I'm feeling pretty good today, but cold really makes me tense up and then they start spasms all the way across my chest. I have pills, lots of pills so that may be the key.... The weather is looking like the 60s in the day but cold at night.....They want the new rig back to do a winter weather under the belly. So they may have the Bullet on Wed....Will see on Monday.. Look for us either way we are happy, no matter what to see you all and camp with great people. Three days of just awful cold rain....no ice or snow. We lucked out in this March round. See you all this weekend. Queenie Jeanne

Snow is pretty much all gone now except for some shaded areas, from now until Then, we will be on a warming and drying trend! !
