Preacher, cover yor ears for a bit, please. This *&^%$#@ computer of mine apparantly just sent my message off to another planet, and gave me a dumbxxx message. AND, this is important stuff, so I'll try again. It's ok now, Preacher. Thanks.

TODAY, I noticed that red maple tree bud tips were beginning to swell. If I keep seeing stuff like unto this, a fellew just might begin to think that spring was a coming - and that there means that BB is just around the corner. I read a post from another camping group that reported geese flying in Ohio. I figure that must be some locals that didn't make it on the last formation going south last fall. I bet that those geese kicked themselves all winter for that. The geese that I want to hear and see are the high flying ones in a formation with the v apex pointing NORTH !!!!!!

Ok my teardrop friends, we are getting mighty close to Beavers Bend. . . .
:D

I am keeping the list of those attending up to date on page 1 of this thread.

We are currently full but have room to double up.
We have had a few friends that have had to cancel already. As I get a cancelation I move those on the double up the list into the spot that was canceled.

Refer to page 1 of this thread for the current list of those attending.

See everyone in a few weeks.

I talked with Reo Ron a couple of weeks ago , and he is in a wait and see mode , and his tenant Tina that he helped with her teardrop , is considering coming ... hope they will !

Hoping to have the green lantern finished by then - I finally got the last few stitches outta my leg - and work can resume - Right now I'm finishing up on the fiberglassing the seams and sanding part - then on to paint - If the weather holds it should be just a matter of a few days - But my schedule also affects the timeline - i have a funeral to do today ( and it's such a fine day!) but you can never schedule when a person passes - it just comes with the job!

Not to derail the thread, I hope my funeral is on a nice day. My grandfather's was on a cold and rainy day and it was a miserable experience.

Just in case anybody is wondering, I will be bringing the coolerita with us. It will also be new and improved. I'm putting a larger garbage disposal on it
(1 1/4hp). There should be lots of margaritas to go around. And, as always liquor donations are always accepted (cheap stuff is fine).Image

I'm hoping to have the new shiny Jewel Box "finished" by then too ! Well, campable and I'm certain it will have a few rough spots that haven't been "polished " yet .. But I know my camping friends , and they'll understand!!!

And Tom (aggie) , they got a new tow vehicle so they better be there . Lookie at all these new campers we get to show off!

Can't wait to see the new Jewel Box, Julie!

I'm switching over to "get it campable" mode rather than "get it finished" mode. We should be there with the SB although it may still have some plastic and blue painters tape on it.
