We're ready for a gathering too.

I'm taking today off so I can excavate our teardrop from the garage and do a little pre-camping maintenance on it.

I have a 20# bag of charcoal for the pot luck dinner

See y'all on Friday

Notice- when you arrive at the park tell the person at the gate you have reservations under the name Tammy Perkins. Then tell them if you are in the group area or have a campsite number listed in the first post of this thread. Pay your vehicle fee ($20 for the weekend) and they will give you sticker for your car/truck and they can give you directions to your campsite if you need them. See y'all this weekend.

Visitors:
Anyone that is coming out for a visit can drive around the barricade at the group area entrance and park on the side of the road. There is plenty of room there or you can park in front of the restroom in that camping loop and walk from there. Visitors are welcome  .

Actually, we're not going to be camping - rain averse - but we should be there for the pot luck.

We coined a new phrase for people who bail out due to weather, it is now called "pulling a Danny." :D

We even used it on you, yesterday.

It was good to see everyone. Too bad about the rain, but we managed to have fun, anyway.

Last year, burn ban, this year, rain all weekend. Go figure.

Sounds like it was a good time. Did anyone bring a waterproof camera? I wondered about the rain as we got it on the Gulf Coast. Also looking forward to LCG, rain or shine. :rainy:

Didn't like the rain so much, but it was a small price to pay for a weekend with such great people! Seeya all at LCG!

We had a wonderful time while we where there. We didn't stay long enough for the pot luck. We couldn't hack the rain plus the wife was starting to feel under the weateher. Had lots of fun talking with everyone. The omelets are great too. Have never done that before. Can't wait to meet up again.
