Caseydog, now you are meddlin' :) .

Yes, I always plan on showing up! :D You just don't know, I was very sleep deprived by the time the weekend came around for Petti Jean. Driving sleepy is as dangerous as driving drunk; the difference is that the "buzz" comes from the snooring and both are irresponsible acts (Insert drowsy emoticon here. There wasn't one in the emoticon library.)

Now, classes have started. I just completed one of my assignments about 10 minutes ago (1:40 AM). I am going to try to get at least one week ahead on my classwork (9 hours of grad school) so that I can get my CAMP ON!! :worship: ...but 2nd to Christ, sleep reigns suppreme in my life right now.

Just make a reservation and tell us you are coming!
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Texas parks don't let you reserve spots ahead of time, but the first one there can claim a bunch for those that follow. Hopefully the first ones there will grab some spots, but if not, it is a large park with lots of nice areas.

You can make reservations thru the TPWD website, ReserveAmerica or by phone with the park.

Looks like there will be a good number and variety of trailers. We look forward to seeing you there. And don't be shy about walking up and introducing yourself to a teardrop owner. We don't bite--much. (Just don't disturb Steve Wolverton too early in the morning!)

Here is the link to the ReserveAmerica website:

I'm still coming but probably not staying overnight since my TD isn't road ready.

For any of you still considering coming but don't have a reservation, this means my space is up for grabs. No need to pay me for it, just let me know you want it so I don't give it to someone else.

Don't you know anyone who would lend you a tent? Should have a lot of people on this forum who have one stowed in the garage now.

We've got an extra two room tent we would be more than happy to bring.

Thanks for the offer. I have a tent but, ummmmm, hate sleeping in them.

As the weekend gets closer, I'll come up with something though. I'm sure there are a bunch of little cabins and B&Bs in the areas nearby.
