Most of the ice is melted from our roads. Still a couple of inches out the door inspite of two 47 degree days. Brrrrrr. If I had a good reason I could head South. :D

Isn't that reason enough? :snowstorm:

Hey Miriam C.

I like the hats :D. ..You could come to the gathering on the 15th...

I hope the weather takes a turn for camping weekend.

I need to look at the records and see what the weather has been like during this time for the last few years.

Gee guys come up to Rayville for the roller coaster weather. In the 40's yesterday 12 lastnight with 5 below wind chill, high today of 25 with 5 wind chill and that's about 3 this afternoon with sun all day. Then down to 5 degrees tonight with who knows what for wind chill, wind is sapose ta stop some time this afternoon. But tomorrow it's sapose ta be back in the 40s.
Poor Trudy had to go to work where the heat might or might not work in her office depending on what mood it is in. I'm not working as usual in the winter and home feeding the wood stove and baking bread. Trying not to talk myself into going out to cut wood, which I need to do but tomorrow sounds alot better.
Maybe we need to move south where alot camping family are but can't yet.

Gary,

Have you and Trudy ever camped in your camper in the kind of temperatures that you are having now?

Wow, "baking bread". Too bad the smells of bread can't be transferred via the internet.

Nope not this cold. We did once last Jan but it only got down in the 20's that time. If I could send the bread smell by email I would gladly. This is the first time I've done bread in about 3 yrs. There ain't nothing like fresh bread. the only problem is trying not to eat it all before it gets cool.

It's perfectly warm here (40-50 degF) but half a dozen streets in a North London suburb have been hit by a mini-tornado - that doesn't happen here!

We have those here off and on and I rather have the cold and snow. It doesn't do as much damage.
