Either date is OK for me Julie. The "Black Box" is road worthy after the rewire at PJ II.

I have been at home without camping Toooooooo Looooong. A/C works good with some improvements. I would like trees; but I'll have plenty of sunscreen and insulation in and on the trailer. 8)

Texhoma here we come!

The bling bling Jewel Box will be shining at site A20

The original blue Bluebonnet is booked in A21... I'm pretty sure.

If you look on Google maps, follow Muncrief Rd south from Kingston, and that road ends at the point where the campground is. You can compare it with the reserve america map. You can zoom in pretty good.

Julie !!!

Caney Creek (Ok)

Postby Cindy » Thu Jun 26, 2008 7:48 am

Yes, we are reserved in A21 at Caney Creek (OK) on Lake Texoma. You can go to Reserve America and search for Caney Creek in Oklahoma. It will redirect you to www.recreation.gov where you will have to register and then reserve your site. 8)

It is going to be hot so I may convince Dave to carry the airconditioner for the new Bluebonnet and we can put the sides on the easyup to have a cool zone. Would that work?

Kewl.... and cool ... and :sweaty:

The website says no beach swimming and swimming is allowed but rocky , watch children.... I zoomed in on the www.maps.google.com site and the satellite view looks like there is a grassy area between me and Cindy's site and the water.

Julie we would love to be there, and what better way is there to celebrate a birthday than teardrop style?! However, it all depends on what happens with our truck. Right now we are truckless.

Well it's been 2 weeks tomorrow that the accident happened and we are STILL waiting to see what they are going to do with it. The initial estimate was nearly $8000 in repairs.......supposedly a supplemental claim is being made as they have found more damage. Earl is going up to the repair shop today to find out what is going on. Either total it or fix it.....one or the other!! We've been told that if and when repairs start that it's going to take at least 4 weeks to fix. It doesn't look as bad as it is. There is alot of damage on the inside (dashboard, floorboard, etc.) The suspension is messed up on the passengers side. The whole cab has shifted. So once we know more we'll see if we can't make it up there in August.

Sorry to here about the accident Earl and Kerry. I had a friend and his wife had a accident like yours in a Dodge Pickup. He fixed it up and is back to driving it.

Good luck and be safe.
