Thanks MJ. I just didn't want to wait if I was supposed to say something now. After reading everything I guess I am getting a little anxious. O.K., I will wait till I am told otherwise.
:duh:
Tony, I think they meant take what you can eat there, not pack it to take home. Just kidding. Oh, I love this bunch!

Wow, three months out and we are already talking food. I guess that shows our priorities, eh?

I am thinking of getting a hitch on my TD so I can tandem a light trailer to bring my scooter and smoker with me. That should look interesting on the highway -- an Audi with a TD and utility trailer tandem.

Hey, I want to be in the middle of everything. Oh yes, what color & kind of car do you want Grani to bring you for your birthday, MJ?

I don't have a waffle iron / waffle maker unless I get my hands on one or two before then... or we could coordinate something and I'll offer to cook the pancakes or waffles....

I've had roasted-smoked-fried turkey. But I have to say that was the first time I had flame broiled turkey.

Smoked Road Kill

Postby Cindy » Mon Aug 04, 2008 7:42 am

I will get Dave to smoke whatever ROAD KILL that I can scare up that week. It will be a surprise. (Don't laugh, we used to get some really good deer that way).
BTW: Dave bought a New ELECTRIC smoker after the flames last year.

Yep, if you don't get enough to eat, you might wither and get blown away by the wind.

And, between you, and me, and Toni -- ooops, I mean Tony, we should have enough to drink.

It's been 2 weeks since we discussed food. I wonder if you all have ever assigned an item for each person to bring for a group meal--to be cooked by a group or a donation jar for those who provide meat. I'm willing to share in the cost. And very willing to be a food tester!
