I need to talk to my boss and check on the possibility of getting the 17th off

I think otherwise it's going to be too close to Beavers Bend & Palo Duro Canyon.

Thoughts, anyone?

How about this?

Since the 17th of April is so close to Beaver Bend, why not have it early in April? Say maybe April 3-5th? or April 10 - 12th. What do you say? :R I checked and there are reservations. Let's get a date and make this one happen.

Maybe it's just me but with BB being the last weekend of march, wouldn't that push them even closer together?

I am still not with it yet. I thought BB was the end of April.
So, I do like the 17th of April. In fact that is almost a month after BB. Ok. So who will go to Purtis Creek. I will be the one to get it together since it isn't even an hour from Dave and I. Lets get this one going. Who can go?

Cindy, It looks like we can go to Purtis Creek the weekend of the 17th. We haven't camped there so we are really looking forward to it. We will get reservations as soon as we can.

I am reserved as well.

Looks like I may have to drive down Fri morning to setup, and return after work Friday night.

Scott, I hope you guys can make it down.

Mike, It's not far from home for me either, but it's an excuse to camp.

I guess it's about time to start talking food. :?
