This is looking great. Maybe we can fill up a whole circle. Any one wanting for more than just the week-end let us know and we will help any way we can. Ed & Ruby

If mine's campable by then, I'd like to attend! We'll see how things are going as things get closer.

It was an expensive trip, but worth it.

...was it more than $300 for a ticket?

Casey Dog & Todah, I do admire you guys for coming again after last year (We won"t even talk about Dave & Cindy's long way home). But it just would not be near as much fun without all of you guys. Fot those that are interested about making reservations If you go online to Texas parks and wildlife reservations it will take you to Reserve America and it seems to be working this year(some of us had problems with it last year) . To reserve by phone call 512-389-8900. We will go Thursday to try to find : the area with the most empty sites close togather. We are gonna have fun :Flippin Burger: :campfire: :picnic: :coffee: Ed & Ruby

Ed, will you & Ruby be willing to take everyone's reservation number so we can all camp as close together as possible?

Also, anyone that is thinking about going to Palo Duro needs to make reservations as soon as possble. This is a popular park & may fill up early.

Woody and Everyone, We will be happy to help with getting every one as close together as we possible. If everyone that wants to will pm their reservation # and name the reservation is in we will go to the park on Thursday evening and see which circle has the most empty spots. Friday morning we can get sites for everyon arriving Friday, same for Sat if anyone is arriving Saturday we can get those sites Saturday morning.  Ed & Ruby

I tried to make reservations online Friday but they were having problems. Guess I'll call Monday.
Ed, Charles and I will be driving up Thursday so we should be there by early evening. It's about 9 hours for us.

I've got my calendar marked.

March - Beavers Bend OK
May - Palo Duro Canyon TX
July - Cloudcroft NM

We tried one more time to make reservations online with no luck, so we called and made them over the phone. We are reserved!!! They ask for a preferred location even though they will not save it for you (go figure) so maybe this year we could try for Hackberry for a little varity from last year. Getting very excited and it is still a ways off but as Woody said this is a popular place (we don't have many to choose from out here) and it does usually fill up. 8) Ed & Ruby

Hi Ed & Ruby, we're going to make our reservations on Fri. this week & I'll send you the number then. We will probably try to head up there on Thurs. that week so we will have a little more time in the canyon. Any of the camping loops there would be fine with us.

See ya'll then.

Have you heard from Mike & Brenda? I noticed they are not on the list yet.

Woody, Glad you guys are coming up Thursday. Maybe you can enjoy some of the hiking trails in the canyon. We will move our plans up a day and Thursday morning will get sites for everyone coming Thursday. Sent Mike & Brenda a PM but have not heard from them. Hope they are well and planing to be there & maybe help pick put sites. Should hear from them soon. Not sure how often they are on the forum. Ed & Ruby

Well, we have to miss this again. I am so disappointed. We have to be in Wisconsin on business at the same time. Set us a place at the table and pretend we are there. We won't eat much. Wish we could be there to see everyone.
