We are coming no matter what. It looks like they have alot open and they have some long sites. It shouldn't be a problem doubleing up If you can get Dave to convince the other ranger of it.

I'm not staying home while Charles is in New Mexico hunting.
I'll be watching this thread so I'll know where to go.

Thanks Madjack for all your hard work.

Jack, Reserve America shows 49 sites available at Lake Claiborne right now in the 2 areas.

Lake Claiborne

Postby rockinrobin » Tue Oct 20, 2009 7:17 am

If we move after MJ checks with Rangers. Do we need to call and make individual reservations, or will someone reserve all sites? :? Ronnie

MUDD

Postby queeniejeanne » Tue Oct 20, 2009 7:18 am

Jack, you may be mad, but you are brilliant....lets move. We just pick up our toys and, all together, go to another location. I do understand if you all have sentimental attachments to Bistineau though!
Flooding lake water leaves mud, at least in my part of the world, our lakes have been flooded for two years, one corp park was almost rebuilt until, last week with all the rain, flooded again. The dams can't let out too much water here or they will flood the lower lakes. Two other parks are never going to reopen, they gave them away to the boy scouts...it is not clear water flooding ours, it is muddy runoff from all the creeks and rising lakes levels. When and if it recedes they have to bring in heavy equipment to scrap off the layers of silt and mud. On the roads, parking areas and paved campsites.
Dennis and I are going to Maumelle with Rayvillians and others for Wed night. so will keep in touch on this link to see if the move works. He and I and Route 66 will be camping somewhere so: I will talk to my Great Spirit and Starleen is talking to his. I suggest we all do the same and try to keep our kindred spirits and this bash going.
HEY a tiny trailer. Whatever it takes.

We're on the way this morning....doesn't matter where we are as long as we're having fun. Just think of the looks on peoples face when 80 some odd tears pull into the Minden Walmart for the weekend.

PS Trudy just said there is a casino lot down at Shreveport.
Where ever we raise the hatch is home.
Darn blank states keep getting further away and we keep traveling slower ain't never gona get this map full.

Willing and able to move to new location, though I will miss not being at Bistineau. Maybe the reason I scheduled my vacation for next week was that I had a premonition. That's it. I knew this was going to happen.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.
