Sorry we missed you all. You can't always know when your health is going to give you trouble, especially at our age. At least it hit while we were still at home and not down at BB. Glad to hear you had a good gathering.

I wish I could have been there. I could have borrowed a tow vehicle from a customer, but it came down to paying to go camping, or getting paid to take pictures. Guess which one I went with.

When you are self employed, and opportunity knocks, camping has to wait.

So, who was Puddin' Head 2013?

Great pic, when I need a new coat I will look at this photo so when I go to get a new coat I will know what the new style is.
i,m surprised this gathering has not been moved to the end of April because of weather.

Had a great time even with the bad weather. I consumed too much of the good food Saturday- Afraid to get on the scale until I hit the gym a few days
Everyone left too soon. The sun actually came out before I left town.

Tom, I am sorry to hear about your bronchitis, my G/F and I have been battling a sinus infection all weekend too! Hope you are better!

Tom, so sorry to hear about your Bronchitis, I don't blame you at all. Charles actually relapsed with his bronchitis and felt bad on the way home Sunday. The cold damp weekend didn't help me either (sinus infection and ear infection) after we got home.

Danny, I am going to call the park over the next few weeks and see if we can chance upon a weekend in April that the Buckeye campground is completely available. I have tried this in the past and every weekend already has reservations made by other ppl.
Easter is April 20 2014 so I have to keep that in mind.
We can only make reservations a year out which means anyone that camps this weekend has the opportunity to book for next year when they leave and that is making it hard to change the weekend and get entire buckeye. I will keep trying though

Grani, I hope all is better for you guys. I am glad you had issues at home instead of at BB

We didn't have a 2013 Mr. Puddin head :-( I did not realize this until we were cleaning up. I think everyone was trying to eat quick and get by the camp fires. I will have to look back to see who was the 2012 Mr. Puddin head

Thanks to everyone for welcoming Becky and I at the Beavers Bend gathering. We had fun even if the weather was less than desirable. As always we ate great. There are some great cooks.By the way we came up from the south for the gathering so we did not bring the cold. We made it home on Tuesday afternoon. Had to go through the snow field but the roads were clear. We had snow on the ground at home but has since melted. Got "The Depot" all cleaned up and ready to go again.
