NOOOOOO CD ..... It was only a passing thought about bringing the work... I guess it's part of just wishing I had a few more things done on the Jewel Box before the first outing of the year!

I've been telling everyone here.... I plan on setting up the tear, popping open the chair and SITTING..... doing nothing..... well, opening a beer sounds good too.....

SEE YA !!!

ps.... it's pouring rain in central OK today and western but BB is still slated to be sunny and 70!!!
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!

:D Well I sent our wanderers on their way. The Winter Warrior's new paint is fabulous. I almost got them up this morning. Notice the morning sun.

Since tomorrow is drive day, I figured it wouldn't hurt to start thinking about my route. ;)

It looks like, from Frisco, Texas (northern edge of Dallas suburbs), I could go across 380 to I-30, over to 259, and North to Broken Bow.

OR, I could go up US 75 to US 70 and East to Broken Bow.

Anyone here made this trip, that could shed some light on the best route?

Hello Ed & Ruby,

I was just wondering about you guys when I looked at the list of folks that are coming.

I hope that all is well with you!

Caseydog, we've made the I-30 to 259 jaunt from Texarkana. It's not a bad drive at all. don't know about the other route. See you tomorrow!

We won't be leaving until I wake up, I work tonight so that'll be around 1:00 in the afternoon (if we're lucky). Google says that it's a 6 1/2 hour drive so as usual we'll get there at O dark, thirty.

Are there any special procedures for late arrivals?

I think 30 to 259 is my best route. Among other reasons, I'll have less chance of hitting bad weather on that route, if the forecast holds.

I'll probably leave after rush hour here, and be there mid afternoon.

Hey everyone we are hooked up and ready to roll. Everything is in the truck except Charles, Me and the hairdryer. Will head out when we wake up. Randy (Bodyman) is there. Talked to him this evening. There was 1 cancelation so the camp host said they would hold it in case we need it. Turned out perfect. Bodyman gets his own site, Woodyperk6"s son gets his own site and Todah Tear gets hers. He said our name is on the majority of the sites and I asked if anyone had reserved the pavillion and he said it had our name on it also. So we are set for the weekend.
