OK folks, yes I must be a computer dummy....somehow this morning I lost all of the PM's from y'all about the Inks Lake reservations. I either hit the wrong button, or the system deleted them without me tell it to. Most likely the first. Anyway, I know I had PM's from Todah Tear, Daniel Bernoulli, lcurrie, and DaveL. Also had a PM from TonyJ, but with no reservation info. Please just re-PM me with your reservation info, and I promise to do my best not to mess it up again. :oops:

Got my tow vehicle lined up -- 2008 Dodge Dakota crew-cab. Thank you Chrysler. :)

So, I can bring a smoker. My smoker has three meat racks, if anyone wants to share space. I have a bunch of charcoal and Pecan chunks.

We should do a pot-luck food thread, like we did for LCGII.

well, I don't think I'm going to be able to make it but it's still 13 days away... There's some casino action going on so if I can make some money for gas I'll be there ! haha

If I don't know until the day or so before, will I still be able to show up and get a site?
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!

Good luck, because I hope you find a way to make it to Inks Lake.

About getting a site, I really don't know because Inks is a very popular park and close to Austin and San Antonio.

When we did our recon trip last Saturday, we were suprised at the number of people there. We figure that people were trying to get their last camping trip in. Plus, the weather was just about perfect.

i talked to inks lake office, they said they were booked up for that weekend but we could double up, if there are no cancelations from other campers.

It is looking like I will not get there until Saturday. This could change. It depends on my workload that week. Maybe I can leave at noon on Friday.

Anyway, someone can share my site, and if I don't get there until Saturday, they will have the site to themselves.

Sounds great. Sherri was dissapointed when I told her it was full. She can't wait. We are leaving here at 5 PM so we should be there about 8. We'll have a fire going for you.
