Woody, what other fees will we need to pay when we get to the park gate? What did the $36 cover, or more importantly, not cover?

Speaking of fees, will the $10 entry fee for camping cover using the boat launch as well or not? I guess I should call the park to find out.

...good question.

Also, I have some guests who "may" come on Saturday. If they decide to tent camp overnight (Sat. to Sun.) can they do so next to my camper or will they need to get a separate site. Can they pay then or does that need to be paid when I check in?

I don't want to complicate things, so if you would rather PM me, that's cool.

Woody told me the $36 covered the $18 camping fee for both nights. When we arrive there will be $10 per day park usage fee.
Right Woody?

Lotsa Questions. Here's some answers:

There is a $10 per day ($20 for the weekend) vehicle fee that covers up to 6 people per car. It covers everything from the boat ramp to the kids playground.

Todah, if your friends want to stay at your site in a tent that is OK. They will let us have a tent & a trailer on a spot but not two trailers.

If y'all have anymore questions I'll try to answer them.

Site #188 - AVAILABLE

Postby aprazr56 » Thu Sep 16, 2010 10:58 am

Hello all,

Unfortunately our plans have been changed and we will no longer be able to make it to Lloyd park gathering :( , therefore, if anyone would like our site (#188) it is available. I have not cancelled it yet so PM or email me and I will coordinate the cancellation when/if someone wants it so no one else will get it.

We WILL be at the LCG5 gathering, though. Grandson has a birthday and getting Baptized weekend of Lloyd park so we really need to be there for those events in his life.

Let us know if someone wants/needs the #188 site !

'Blessings' to all,
Gregg & Cheri :MLAS

Sorry you won't be able to make it but grandkids are pretty important. We'll see y'all at LCG next month.

I haven't been camping since the Lake Whitney gathering. From the looks of it, we are going to be a bunch of happy campers :D .

I thought it might be nice to have some name tags with so many coming. Nothing fancy. I could just print them out in black n white. If you are like me and have a hard time remembering names, the tags will help.

Here's what I was thinking:

Todah, that looks good to me  .

We've got 26 campsites so we may need quite a few of them.

Sure hope it cools off next weekend. I'm bringing some firewood, anyone else?

I don't have firewood, but Kroger has their store brand charcoal 2 bags for 5 dollars. I'll bring a bag for the big grill. Maybe some other campers can bring a bag.

BTW, they have a 16 pound bag on sale for $5.99, or two 8 pound bags on sale for $5.00. Must be some kind of retail IQ test.
