Yes, turn your lights on bright as you enter the campground, shine them on tentcampers if possible. Roll down your windows and turn your radio up really loud.

Bummer to the max :( !!!

I have tried to leave, but the U-Haul trailer connection module keeps blowing a fuse. I have not tail lights on the trailer and my dash lights go out as well. ... and it smells like electrical smoke. I have had that replaced twice by them. I'll have to wait 'till they open and see if I can get it replaced a 3rd time. Is 3 really a charm?

Never the less, I'll try to get there.

Todah, sounds like a faulty ground connection somewhere. Had that same problem last year before my first trip. Finally had to add a separate ground wire to all lights on the TD. Hope you get it fixed OK & we see you at Beavers Bend.

We're all packed 'cept for couple of small bags. Wife's in the shower & we'll be pullin' out in a couple of hours. 'Bout 3 1/2 hrs to BB. See ya there!

Well it is 9:07AM and I am back from U-Haul. An extremely rude mechanic, who has never touched my car kept saying that it must be my trailer "...because I have worked for U-Haul 5 yrs and I have never had anyone come back or a module burn up because Imake sure everything is connected correctly."

$50 later, I'm on the getting on the road as soon as my coffee gets warmed up.

See you there, God willing!

I should be heading out of Frisco at 10:00. Gotta pick up ice and top off the gas tank, then it's "on the road" time.

Wife & I made it home a half hour or so ago. Took the scenic route across the Tali-Mena Drive then SH88/US270/US70 home. Lots of beautiful Dogwood trees blooming in the Ouachita NF & along the hiway. We left BB around 1:30pm & got home around 6:30pm, drove 196mi in 5hrs as opposed to 144mi in 3.5hrs going out. I'll post pix after I've had time to review/sort 'em a little. Had a great time with only a little rain Fri evening/nite & just a little Sat morning. Great poltluck supper, & Trudy's breakfast Sat, & good campfire conversation last nite. Hope everyone had/has a safe trip home. Woodyperk & SodaPop tear were the only ones still at BB when we left. Lookin' forward to next time

I made it back in 3-1/2 hours, and got everything put away in about an hour.

What a great weekend -- even with the Friday-night rain.

I met a lot of really nice people, and enjoyed some beautiful scenery.

Lot's of great food at the pot-luck, too. :applause:

I look forward to seeing all of you again. :D

We arrived home about 3:30. Had a great time, as usual! It was a great weekend. Good food, and plenty of it. Warm campfires, lovely weather (after Friday night anyway), good friends, great conversation. Can't wait to see everyone again!

Glad to see everyone is making it back ok. We got back to KC about 5:15. We went east on 70 to 71 north through Arkansas. A little longer but a beautiful drive. We met a real friendly Arkansas state trooper on the way into Ft. Smith (don't ask). Sylvia and I both had a great time and it was good to met new and old friends. And what a great batch of teardrops. We are looking forward to the next gathering. I'll post some pics and a trip report later.
