I have gone both ways, and the 220 bypass is wide open and low traffic -- although not a perfect example of road building.

Going through Shreeveport on I-20 is nothing compared to going through Dallas on just about any road, but if you do all your driving in the country, or in small towns, the I-20 route might have you anxious.

EVen though big city driving is no big deal to me, I will probably still go the bypass route. ;)

BTW, my current plan is for LCGIII to be the last gathering for my current TD. It will be for sale soon, to get ready for a build. I can't start a build and keep the current TD. I need the money and the space.

Sooooo, anyone out there interested in buying a TD may want to come to LCGIII to check mine out.

Last year you were saying that I-20 running south of Shreveport was in bad shape and people coming from the West should take this loop around the North side of Shreveport.

Do you know if I-20 is still in bad shape? If they haven't repaired it then it must be really bad this year.

OK I'll bite.
Soo how do you tell if a road in LA is in need of repair. I thought they were all that way.

Hey all
We are not going to be able to make it, so... If you need a spot, just let me know and it is yours.

I hate this but I won't be able to make the LCG gathering either. I had #53 reserved so I plan on canceling the reservation today if anyone wants to snatch it. I was looking forward to meeting you guys and gals and camping with MaryK and Mr. Billy again. Oh well...there's always next year. :disappointed:

Becca, as I told ya in the PM...so sorry...I would ask that you check on their cancellation policy and wait until the last minute to cancel...that will keep that giant 5th wheeler from taking the spot...

...too any that wish to attend but were afraid you couldn't get a site, we have had a couple of cancellations, so now is the time to grab those spots.....
