Works for me. Need to strategically arrange a teardrop in FRONT of the fire. Hell, I'm from Texas I didn't realize.

Uhhhh ... don't know what I'm doing. First post for me

Postby madprinter » Mon Oct 25, 2010 2:08 pm

Hi Everyone! I'm Amy, (Madprinter's Girlfriend) and I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, BUT .... I wanted to tell everyone that William and I are very much looking forward to meeting all of you. This is William's first TD gathering, so he's REALLY excited. I'm expecially excited about some margarita machine he keeps telling me about .... and the dancing. William doesn't dance but I do, so if anyone knows how to do the East Coast Swing, Two Step or line dancing.... come get me! :worship:

As for the gumbo, not sure what William plans to bring but I'll make sure he posts and lets Madjack know what it will be. As for the pot-luck, I think William is doing something on the grill, so since so many of you are bringing alcohol, thought I'd throw in a few drugs.... Crawfish Crack. YUMMMM..... those of you that like Crawfish Fettucini should like it. WARNING: ADDICTIVE !!!

Well, I guess we will see all of you Friday. I will be arriving after work, so I'll be driving later, William will be there earlier setting up camp. We can't wait, sounds like SO much fun ! See you there !!!

:worship: Are there any updates to the burn ban situation? We had a bunch of thunderstorms this weekend. Hopefully, some of them made their way to the Shreveport area - the rain part, not the hail and tornado parts.

Regardless, I'm hauling a few bundles of firewood and other combustibles.

I"m glad they got some rain. WE didn't get any at all. I've got wood still in the truck from Joe Pool Lake. Hope we can use it

I'm all packed, truck and teardrop. All I need is to make banana puddings Friday am before I leave.

I'll get Amy to do a "Rain Dance", maybe that will work. As far as her "Crawfish Crack" no drugs are actually used, its just so good everyone says its addictive. I'll have to agree. We'll have to get Scott involved, that way he can't rat us out, not that he would, but just incase.
Were Looking forward to meeting everyone and a fun weekend.

Yes, we will need some "ADULT SUPERVISION" and I will vote Scott to keep the record straight.

Oh, he'll keep it straight, he needs to file it all away for a future sermon! The material this group provides! 8)

All the posts about LCG5 makes me very envious of those folks going this year. :( Unfortunately it is just too far for us to make it every year. We made it to LCG2 and LCG4 and hope to make it to LCG6. Hope you have a big fire and dancing and all.
