a gathering in Louisiana...the LCG

bf, I will be up to checkout the CG soon and will be bringing the trailer with me...is the opening weekend the last weekend of OCT...I was hoping it was the following week...how crowded do you think the CG might be if that is the opening weekend....

Madjack,

I dont think it will be crowded at all, there is no hunting on the park itself and most of the hunting land nearby is leased by clubs in this area so I doubt if it draws many hunters for camping. I have a few friends that work there if I can remember I'll call and find out about years past.

We are going to try an be there. I'll bring my camera, pencil, note book, fork and plate and I will bring my appitite. :twisted:

I have been to Lake Bistineau a couple times just to look around. One day I would like to fish the lake. It is a nice area.

cypress knee trippin' sounds kinda painful almost like being impaled. :shock: I guess if you are going to be drinkin' and do some root trippin' your going to have to be tough in your area.
