I can't make enough to feed everybody; but I do have a pretty decent crockpot red beans and rice recipe. If I add andouille sausage to it, would that be acceptable??? I can probably come up with something different if that won't work!!

Ya sure can't go wrong with red beans and rice. I'll be first in line.

I'll bring sweet potatoe fries and a modest portion of smoked pork chops w/potatoe gravy.

I'll bring the butter! ;)

Any thing slathered in butter makes it gooood! HAHA

I just love recipies that start with a pound of butter, you just know it's gonna be good. I'm not sure yet what I'll bring.

I make a pretty mean pot of BBQ beans, which seem to be a southern staple when there is a crowd for dinner. If no one has objections, I'll whip up a pot for the LCGIII potluck.

...nope, none at all...keep in mind that we are doing a BarB-Que themed type of potluck...BBQ beans, dirty rice, coleslaw, green salad, pasta salad, potato salad and garlic bread, all go well with BBQ...red beans and rice, gumbo or whatever you wish is OK as well since we are teardroppers and or course we are very cosmopolitan so that means we will eat most anything...and eat it with gusto(but only if he shows up)!!!!!!!!!!
