When I do beans for a crowd, I usually fix them in a 6 qt. crock pot.

I'll plan to bring a large mixed fruit salad & some orange & cranberry juice for Brkfast and another waffle maker for Julie.

I'm thinking some kind of salad for Friday night. Sounds like the meat & beans are covered....mmmmm. :shake hands:

You must have to sell raffle tickets for things like this!!!!! Put me down for ten!!!

Think I'm bringing cheesecake for Friday, that's my latest "speciality" esp. since I got Juniors excellent cookbook!... still haven't decided on Sat. night. Garlic bread sounds good 'cause I could make the bread at home, too. I could eat a whole meal of that.

That's my Deep Thought for now.

We are working on a batch of pear preserves. Gonna try our hand at pear butter next. We will bring a few jars to sweeten things up for the Sat morning breakfast.

This will be my son and I's first gathering, so i don't know about the whole food thing(rules, etc.). So if someone could let me know what i need for the big cookout or at least let me bring some supplies of some sort. Whatever everyone needs, etc. Thanks!!!Vern

Oh....by the way,
We could be the taste testers if nobody has taken that job! :chips:

I think I will make the Turnip Greens Like I did last year. The pot was empty at the end of dinner, so I guess everyone like them.

Remind me to bring the pepper sauce this time okay. Poor girl will have her own I am sure. ;)
