Thanks Big De,I sure hope I don't have to work that weekend. Maybe by then I can change work days with the guys. Hoping anyway. I can't wait to meet new people and see everyone. I'll have to find someone to watch my dogs. I usually take them camping. See ya then. :) Peg

Hey Danny, I found a floating cooler for the river trip complete w/cup holders. Holds a 24 pack + ice. $12.00 at Big Lots. :beer: :guzzle: :woohoo:

Hey y'all.... would you hope the Jewel Box will join ya????

I finally looked at the thread, and called the park and found out 103 & 104 are still available. Also found out if I have my son or someone come with me , I can put a tent on the site (if there's room)

I wondered --- is everyone showing up on the 7th and then we're tubing on the 8th? Or what's the game plan?

You and your son get down there! I don't know the official schedule, but I assume we will be tubing on Saturday.

It is a great tubing river, and you know that it will be fun -- especially with Danny in charge.

Book your site and go get an inner-tube.

Hello everyone, txbum here... wondering if you might accomodate two adults and a soon to be built teardrop? we live close by ih10 and hwy 77...will upload a mock up photo of my trailer and helper...soon. Rick :D

GOOD NEWS --- the Jewel Box is on board for spot #103!
So I'll like drive down late that thursday night half way, and get there early friday or something like that.

Bad news ----- I got home and discovered the moulding around my windshield is coming loose! aargh!!!!!

We will get there around noon on Friday and our first tube ride will be about 1:30 and the party is on from there.

Wow, fellow teardroppers thanks for the invite, you made my day . Feeling so welcomed , DW is sooo excited ready to tube and party and take pictures of everyone if permitted. We have a floating tube cooler exactly like the one posted earlier. Question is a inflatable kayak too much to take or would tubes / floating tube chair combo be ok? Thanks ..Rick 8)
