Reservations are made

Texas Teardrop #1 Alpha and #2 Bravo will be there. We plan to be there Thursday May 14th, 15th, 16th leaving on the 17th. I sure enjoyed last year’s gathering at Palo Duro Canyon and hope to see everyone there again. I'm sure #3 Charlie will be there too.

Garland, Great to see you guys will be there. Looks like several of us are planning to be there Thursday. If you want us to get your camp sites Thursday morning just sent us a pm with your reservation # and the name the reservation is under. Not sure if we will try to get everyone in Sagebrush or Hackberry. Think we will go down there Thursday morning and see which camp ground has the most openings close together. Jeannie and Dennis. Glad you guys are coming. The campground we are asking for is Sagebrush, however, I am not sure why they even ask because they will not make your reservation for that campground for sure. Just put it down as your first choice. This is where they put us last year and it worked out really well. Looking forward to meeting you at Bevers Bend this week-end. When you get your reservations let us know (pm) the number, the name and date you are arriving. Ed & Ruby

All you need to do is call Texas State Parks Central Reservation System at 512-389-8900. You can also go to Reserve America.com but we have found it to be easier just to call Austin to make reservations. Hope to see ya'll there. When you get a confirmation number send a PM to Ed and Ruby in Amarillo & they will pick up our sites so we can all be together. Good luck finishing your TD.




Anyone else wanting to go should make reservations as soon as possible. Its a popular and beautiful park and will probably fill up.

Julie, You only have to pay one day to make a reservation, but to be able to get a site for you before you get here it has to be paid in full. Not sure if you would plan to arrive Thursday or Friday but I am sure we can work something out if you have only paid for the one day ahead of time. Hope you can make it. Rick & Linda, we are looking forward to you being here for this one, Linda, you are correct, with Danny and Glenn here I am sure there will be scattered showers. Ed & Ruby
