Hey Everyone, we're looking forward to the weekend. We're going to fry a cajun turkey and make a greenbean casserole for Saturdays pot luck. Glad there is no burn ban :campfire:

Since we didn't get any feedback on the fried turkey, (and the fact that everybody may be turkeyed out by Saturday), we've decided to smoke a briskit and some leg quarters instead. See you all on Friday!

That works out OK , Woody and crew had mentioned that they were going to fry a turkey also, that is the usual tradition, sorry I didn't think to reply about that!!!

Still 15 sites left FYI ;)

My sister and hubby might be coming, and my friend from Terrell is wussing out and going to Tyler State Park, but he needs some solo camping in his life so I'll give him a pass this time....

I'm on the road as soon as I can Friday morn!

We're going to try to be there when the office opens Friday morning.

We're bringing firewood and also plan to deep fry a couple of turkeys.

See y'all tomorrow.

I just got in an hour ago, took me exactly 2 hours of nerve racking driving with all that wind. That is the only time I don't love my camper. I am going to shower and eat some shrimp, then post photos. It was a great time!

OK my photos are up too! I got some cool shots repelling and of Woody's Saturday night party spot and don't forget about the redneck Molotov movie!

When I went for a beer run right before nightfall, look what I found! Woody definitely earned it that day!!! Good luck on the "Spring Project"!!

My left side spring broke going around the courthouse in Weatherford. :(

We still wanted to go camping so I left the TD in Weatherford and went home and got my utility trailer. We loaded the TD on the trailer & went camping with it that way. Looks kinda redneck but the park staff had a good laugh.

We had a great weekend and it won't be to much trouble to fix the TD. Just a little damage to the fender and replace both springs. Easily done at the house
