Well I was hoping you were posting that you were gonna make the trip, but 500 miles is a long way to go to see people you met on the internet.

The company gave us some extra floating holidays to use next year so I had to add Wednesday and Thursday nights to my reservations.

Bad news--no more spots available for Friday and Saturday nights.

Well, I finally gave myself a reality check last night that I just will not have the Scotty ready to go for the spring break gathering. I could do it, but I would have to dedicate 100% of my off time to it, and I need to work on my drift trike too, and I just don't like putting myself under pressure for no reason, so I am gonna get the windows in the Scotty so it is weather proof and stop working on it for a while, and do the couple of little things I need to get the Shasta ready for the trip and then get to work on the trike so it is ready for sliding at Beaver's Bend! I'll start camping in the Scotty whenever it is done and I love my Shasta just the same! I just get all excited with new stuff and I like that the Scotty is half the weight too, but the Shasta isn't that bad really (It's half the weight of the Kenskill! So that give me a little breath of relief to enjoy ramping up to the camping season!! I am looking forward to the trip and seeing this awesome park and my buddies!
