Beavers Bend 2015 April 23-26, 2015

Most of us were so glad to move from March to April last year. Many times in March I had a conflict with one of my largest customers. Last year was great because of no conflict.
Wouldn't you know it!!! My customer changed to April this year on the same weekend!!! Dog gone it....Macy and I will have to miss the fun this year.

Mark, If you know you paid please let me know. As I stated earlier, I lost records on some that paid me when leaving last year. I am going on the honor system. There are a couple of folks that almost always pay when we leave so if you know you did just let me know. I started to PM you on FB as you weren't on the list and usually are.
I will put you down now and await your reply on pmt.


on another note.......this beautiful weather we have had has me getting ready to go camping. We have the big teardrop out and are doing some tweeking. Our hatch is super heavy and it takes two of us to open it up over head and fold up the screen door. Well.........it now has a hydraulic opener with a remote control which means if I want to go camping without the hubby I can open and close the hatch. yayyyyyyyyyy
next we are putting a new ceiling in the hatch. We had a sheet as the ceiling to cut down on weight but now weight is not a problem.

It may be a little early, but as a first-timer to Beavers Bend, I have a couple of questions:

1) Will we need to stop at the Visitor's Center on the way in? And, will they have a record of our name as having reservations?
2) Are there signs pointing the way to the campground? Any special directions that would be helpful?

Getting anxious. This will probably be my first trip of the year. I may need to spend a night on the way as this is about seven hours for me.

No need to stop at visitor center. Follow signs to Buckeye campground. You will stop at a stop sign at the visitor center. Go straight and road will then ever to your right and you will see store on your left. Continue straight and you will then see cabins on your right. (You will see play ground on left as well as a bath house) take next left and the buckeye campground is down the hill behind the play ground.
There may be a park host at the gate. Just tell them (if the home out) that you are with the teardrop.
You will want to make the Loop to look at empty sites then choose where you want to be and set up camp.
All sites will have "Modisette"

Well Linda, I'm not sure. I have paid you in the past before I left but I don't know if I did this time. It is quite possible I didn't.

I went ahead and sent you a check for the 3 nights (Thurs-Sat). Go ahead and cash it. If I find out I already paid, we can put it toward 2016.
