Nevada sounds good to me. I'm really hoping we can make it. I'd really like to get in one more camping trip before the snow hits. 8)

I have long johns, a down quilt, and a new ceramic heater. I'm ready!!

I'm OK with cold you can always put on more blankets and clothes. It's hot I have a hard time with. You can only go as far as nekkid. Ok, no more imagery from me.

Yep..... Nevada, Missouri.

Where they used to send you if you had mental problems ( like crazy ).

Nevada had one of the few State operated sanitoriums for some politically incorrect term, like Hospital for the Criminally Insane or something like that. May have also taken TB patients. They changed the name in the late 70's or early 80's. Also home to Cottey College, which used to be and I think still is an all girl college.

Small town of 4000 to 6000 people. Mostly farmers. They have a McDonalds,a Sonic, a Hardee's and a Pizza Hut. Used to have a small Wally World and all the small businesses like hardware store and grocery store. Kinda like Minden, NE.

Thanks Mike. I saw a sign for a Sanatorium on the way home from LCG and didn't know what it was.

Nevada, MO is still 900+ miles away so I don't think I will be making it. :(

Oh yeah---you can do it. Just get lost in Mississippi and head North West. 8) Only take you a couple of days. And who needs a job anyway. Boy your boss would kill us all. ;)

This makes it a great place, ought to be a major destination. Oh wait I am old enough to be their dad, nevermind.

I have driven across Miss more than once, I like that state. Now try driving across Calf. first thing you notice is border guards (they say they are looking for illegal fruit). Then freeways exit and enter at random, exits can be to the left or right. You can be driving down one freeway and it exits without you, and leaves you on another freeway. If I never go back it will be too soon.
