We used the little misting thing in front of a squirrel fan on the back porch this summer in some 100+ heat. I agree the mister it's self isn't much but if you get the mist from it moving around with a fan it helps out.

If there are any other group site cancellations can you work us into it? That way when Little Oz is napping we won't be too far away from the tear while visiting. Thanks

Anna

Todah was in the group area.

Are we going to do a regular pot luck on Saturday, or light up the giant grill again?

I'll donate a bag of Kngsford, if we want to use the giant grill.

I would vote for the big grille. Keeps it simple on a hot afternoon.

Anna, I got a PM from Todah and she said you could have her spot. I'll make the changes.

The big grill is ok with us.

I'll check at work & see if there are any spare misters I can borrow for the weekend.

Where's Spinnernut?

One of the members at BBQ-Brethren Forums works for Home Depot in purchasing. He said Kingsford two packs will be on sale staring this Thursday for Labor Day weekend.

The sale will be two-packs of 23LB bags for nine dollars in most stores. Go early, because heavy BBQ-ers like me will be stocking up, and the sale price is "while quantities last."

Carla and I will do peach cobbler and homade butter pecan ice cream. And also bring along something for the grill if that's what everyone wants to do, sounds great to me.
Thanks CD for the heads up on Kingsford, I will be at Home Depot early.

I'll bring a 23 pound bag of original Kingsford. If one other person brings one, we will have more than enough for the jumbo grill. Oh, how about a volunteer for a bottle of lighter fluid?

I plan to bring one of my Webers and a bunch of hot dogs, buns and condiments for lunch on Saturday. If somebody wants to bring some potato chips, that would be great.
