We were sent the same email. I haven't tried the RA system so 'll be curious what it does to our reservations.

I never received an email about Reserve America so I went to check. It showed that I had no reservations with them but as I checked further at campsites at Lake Bisteneau it showed that Campsite #54 (mine) was not available so I assume it carried over. I will call later on to make sure we still have it. Gonna be fun.

I used the "forgot password" link in the email, and they never heard of me. :frightened: I guess I'll have to call.

Hi, everyone.

I just got off the phone with the Reserve America/LA state parks reservation system, and everything's hunky-dory on both ends. I called the number in the email, 877-226-7652, and spoke to the nice lady, who confirmed my reservations were entered in the system. When I explained that I couldn't change my password to log in, she transferred me to Customer Service, and he helped me straighten that out.

So all you have to do is call 877-226-7652, and give the whole long story. When the nice person on the other end says "Huh?" try explaining that you can't log on to your account, and ask them to please check your reservation. They'll probably ask for your phone number or email.

Don't forget to tell them "thank you."

It's no sweat, just a minor inconvenience.

See you all at LCG IX!
I'll burn that bridge when I come to it.

I checked on my reservation that was made before the Reserve America switch and it is still valid so I would assume they all are okay if you made it early. The gentleman told me to be forewarned that the lake would be drained at that time so no kayaking or fishing if you were planning on it. So I guess that leaves us with socializing and eating, not too bad a deal. :D :) :D

Looks like we're gonna make this one - booked site # 55. Several sites are now taken, but I guess they are just mystery guests since they have not been claimed here  Where are all the usual suspects??

I am in 36.

I talked to Madjack sometime ago and he has reserved 38 & 40.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).
