Okay, f i n a l l y .... I booked my two nights ! and if I could leave town now, I would! And I'll doubley check my hitch and make sure it's tight this trip ! haha ....

Nothing new with the Jewel Box though, it's been too rainy , humid or busy !

I hope someone is bringing wood for some good campfires .... and last I heard my brother and sis in law might drive up for the day, not sure if they will stay for dinner or not, but I'll make an extra dish in case. Like we never have enough food...... haha :Flippin Burger: :ilovecamp:
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!

I was planning on bringing some firewood. Camping is always better with a campfire. Also saturday will be my youngest sons 10th birthday & my mother & sister are coming by for a visit. They are planning on bringing cake for everyone & I was wondering if they could come to pot luck dinner? Let me know. Tammy & will bring something as well.

Hello all...
I have finished another tax season and am tying up loose ends this week.
I have been too busy to make plans for this outing. But, it looks like things are shaping up to where I can get out of town.
I will not be able to leave until late Friday afternoon. I am hesitant to make reservations for certain.
I will wing it and take a chance and call Friday when I leave to make sure I can get in.
I will bring my 13 year old daughter, Jade and my dog, Chloe.
Hope to see you all there. :)

Woody,

No problem on them joining in on the potluck. We love meeting and feeding new people.

Kevin,

Glad to hear you might make it. I know you're glad to have tax season behind you.

Cindy - I'm paid in full. Would you mind picking my reservation up for me? I won't be getting in until late - probably after 9:00.

Have to see if I can scare up some firewood. I need a big enough fire to get my cast iron skillet clean.

What I expected to be an itty bitty gathering sure turned out big. Gonna ask a friend from work if she wants to tag along.

Dave or Cindy-
When is the latest that I could let you know about picking up our reservation? It's looking like 'maybe' I can make it down to Dallas this weekend. I won't know for sure until Wednesday. I hate cutting things that close. Hopefully Lucas and I will make it. If not, you guys all have fun!

We got us a Gathering!

Postby Cindy » Mon Apr 23, 2007 5:36 pm

This looks like 16 Tears! That is great. I look forward to seeing you all. There is a nice area to have a fire in the fire ring near where we are wanting to camp. Lots of room for sitting around.

If any of you have folding tables, please bring them for the pot luck.

Oh, Max will be there!

Hey, Camp Wannaquicky can make a quick trip to Cedar Hill and we can find out how she got her name?
Let me know if you want me to pick up your reservation.
