Julie and Todah...
I'm with you guys. This weekend was BEAUTIFUL and really got me thinking about teardrop time at Beavers Bend, Petit Jean and the ultimate trip Pamplin Grove.

Charles got the siding off the slide out and now he has to get busy putting on new exterior skin.

See you guys in April

Linda,
I'm looking at a map of BB and don't see a Buckeye section. It only says area A,B,C etc. I've never been there, can I assume there will be signs or such to the camp site? I hope so, I'd hate to get lost going to my first gathering.   The map I got was from:

Man,I can't wait to go, cabin fever is eating me alive.

Hey Johnny,
I've been there two years in a row and the map is confusing to me! I think this is the spot.

Yes that's it Rick.... B as in Buckeye.

Ivar, you'll come in on 259A and see the Nature Center or whatever it is first and they can help you out, very friendly.

Johnny, when you get to section B / Buckeye there is a park host. They may or may not stop you. They will know that the teardrops have the entire section. Just tell them you are with the teardrops.
Hopefully it will be the same park hosts that we have had the past 2 years. They were great and were looking forward to us returning.

See ya soon. April is slowly approaching

I've thought about T-shirts for the Beavers Bend gathering several times and hoped others had too and someone would volunteer to take charge.;

I like the drawing Rick has done (page one of this thread) and it would look nice on a T-shirt. I liked the similar things he gave us at one of the other gatherings.

Is anyone else interested in T-shirts? If so maybe someone would like to volunteer to do T-shirts.
I really don't know much about that kind of stuff.

any volunteers?

I need a new project, I like to keep about 7,000 projects going at any given time, and at last count I only had 6,957! I'm up for it, bring it on! If everyone likes the drawing I'll check on prices and see if the drawing can be enlarged to fit a t shirt. I'm kind of thinking a light brown, or maybe a bright green shirt. Let me know what you all think?

I know we haven't done this before, but are we going to have a drawing for prizes? I wouldn't want to volunteer anyone, but Glen did a nice job at LCG!

Also, we have a couple hundred foam coffee cups, knives, forks, napkins we'll be bringing for Julie's RV omelette's, and for potluck Saturday night. I'm going to miss Gary and Trudy's mountain man breakfast, but the RV omelette's are a real treat too! I'll miss Gary and Trudy too, not just the breakfast.

I think light brown or cream would be nice. I'm not real big on green but I'll go with the majority vote.
Thanks for volunteering Rick. Glad you need another project.
I do better with orginazation like paper work etc.
I've got plenty to do right now in the shop.

It would be great to have prizes too. Betty? you had a few ideas....

I'll have to start working on what kind of prize we want to bring.

I don't know how they price doing tshirts but if the many different colors is a problem, then of course modify it.
I vote for anything other than white shirts and only if it's not costly, ya know.

Prizes? It wouldn't hurt my feelings if we don't have that .
Unless it's just a $1 or white elephant type thing,

I'm still home sick in bed.. cough cough cough

I just found out that my oldest son will have to work the weekend of the BB campout so I have an extra site if someone is needing one.

Woody can we claim that extra spot? The weekend just opened up for us. If that is fine the check will be in the mail.

Stewart, the spot is yours. You can pay me for it when you get to BB. Look forward to meeting you. April seems like a long time away right now.
